Clipston has 2 tennis
courts available for use by the whole village at any time. They are being
re-surfaced in order to make them safe and playable. The Tennis Club is
co-ordinating fund raising for the refurbishment plus ongoing maintenance
costs.
The Tennis Club themselves are a welcoming and inclusive group of village
members who enjoy a social game of tennis on a Tuesday evening during the
summer where everyone is welcome, irrespective of standard!
Membership is £25 per individual or £50 per couple/family although this
actually gives you very little by way of privilege! Just the kudos of saying
you belong to the Club and the guarantee of a game on Club nights! We also
run a very popular and active junior section where coaching is provided.
